I recently bought "clip art explosion" so I could frig around with some jobs at home and was really happy when I realized that their proprietary .cpt (whatever files) were vector and could be turned into postscript , pdf and then manipulated in Illustrator.

It's real vector art and was pretty cheap and now I look smart when i get a job or 2 from my wife to do for her company.

next step: Get paid for it!!

I'm glad I came into this thread at the end, otherwise I would be accused of flaming or trolling or something. Why don't you - Sauce - try it for us? And then tell us... What part of the software are you scared of?

If you told us, you may actually have earnt some of those stars you have. Except we already know.

The last PM I remember sending you was a request to get in touch so that I could help you learn. That offer is still there. Or maybe I'm trolling again. You're welcome here Sauce, some must come from you.

Read the links I sent you previously. I don't know how else I can help. Bear in mind I'm UK.

New features in Illustrator CS3 allow you to do this in just a few steps.

See thread here: http://www.prepressforums.com/ftopict-9348.html
