Here's another:
(see instructions below)
1. Use the text tool to create a text frame.
2. In Text Frame Options (cmnd+b), choose the desired number of columns
3. Use the Type on a Path tool on the text frame outline and type the headline.
4. Position the text brackets so that the text begins and ends above the text frame.
5. Thread the text frames by selecting the headline out-port and connecting it to the in-port of the text frame.
6. To vertically distance the header from the frame select Baseline Shift in the Character Pallet to the desired distance.
What you see in the image I posted was my variation on the theme wondering if I could place a border around the Text frame and still get the same effect.
By again choosing the Text Frame Options (cmnd+b) and selecting the Baseline options tab I entered .75" and clicked OK, I then chose the Baseline shift in the Character Pallet and made that a negative number until it fit the way I wanted 8)
