Okay, maybe I could live without it, but I didn't want to create a new post and it's FREE!

Anyone use Skype IM?
It's free, runs on Mac OSX, Linux and Winblows systems. Check it out.
I've been using it a little lately - pretty sweet app.

For me, it's Default Folder:

Allows you to quickly navigate open/save dialog boxes.
Thanks Cory! I've been using it for only 2 days now and it has already saved me a lot of time navigating through folders.
ditto but ...I can't seem to copy file names just by clicking on them anymore, I guess thems the breaks. Also I can't figure out if I have got the 30 day trial or the beta version :?:

Actually go to "behavior" under "settings" and you can turn the option back on or set a key to copy the file names

For system maintenence a handy tool is Maintenance 3.1. You'll need a new Mac OS because it uses Automator.

I use a little freeware app called "Desktop Manager" for OSX, Prepress is fast paced and it helps keep my little virtual world organized. I have mail always displayed on one desktop, my rip client on another, Preps on yet another and can design and shuffle files in the fourth. I no longer have to move windows out of the way and hide programs to get to something else, really slick. It really freaks people out too when they are over your shoulder for the first time.

I downloaded this a couple of days ago absolutley brilliant. Even working with two linked 21" monitors you never have enough space, this solves it. cheers Earendill
