Page numbering in Quark and InDesign
I know not everyone is as anal as I am but when working on a documant that is "Self Cover" I want to be able to assign "auto page numbering" to my outside cover, inside front cover, etc. (OFC, IFC, IBC, OBC) well if (inQuark) you select "section start" and "start page number __) then type in the number 159 and select "A,B,C,D,..." as the style when you view the page in the (layout Quark) (Page pallet ID) the page will show up with the designation "FC"
Think of it this way 1-26 = A-Z so for ever 26 numbers you move down the alphabet one more letter. for example 39 (26+13) = AM
