Trueflow 4

It's a little missleading that they call it trueflow 4 as it is actually Trueflow version 3.4. I think it probably sells better if people think they are going for a whole new version rather than just a version update.
We did go for it as we like to keep up to date with all the revisions and there are a couple of advantages but nothing too major - we did upgrade the rip about the same time to bring us up to date with the latest Adobe Rip at the same time. One major update is an addition to the imposition software call Page Optimize. I say addition, it is actually a seperate imposition package that runs natively on a Mac (or PC i beleive) for impositions made up of different page sizes ie 2xA4, 1xA3, 4x A5 and 6x comp slips (99x210mm).

Obviously one of the Screen team should be ablt to give you a further insight into what is happening behind the scenes.

I always try to keep with the times but TBH if you are happy with the way Trueflow is running and you don't need the extra imposition software then I would probably ask yourself "Why spend the money?"

Well thanks frani, I didn't know it was an upgrade the 3. It did sound like a full blow version. They did say it added dutch cuts to the impostion software but other than that I don't see a reason for it. They still haven't sent me any info on it so this helps.
thanks again.
