How to create a MAC OSX Printer for Trueflow
To create a Trueflow virtual printer on Mac OSX:
1. Insert the Trueflow Version 3.01 Application CD-ROM into the
CD-ROM drive.
2.Copy the ?DS TRUEFLOW_E V1.4? PPD from the Macintosh
Utilities > PPD folder on the Trueflow Version 3.01 Application
CD-ROM to Library > Printers > PPDs > Contents > Resources >
en.lproj.
3. Navigate to the Applications > Utilities folder on your computer.
4. Double-click ?Print Center? (Mac OS 10.2.x) or ?Printer Setup
Utility? (Mac OS 10.3 or 10.4). The Printer List window will appear.
5. Click the ?Add? button. A dialog box will appear that allows you
to add a new printer.
6. In the top drop-down list, select ?IP Printing.?
7. Enter ?Trueflow? in the ?Printer?s Address? (Mac OS X v10.2.x) or
?Printer Address? (Mac OS X v10.3.3 or later) field.
8. Select ?DS? in the ?Printer Model? or "Print Using" pop-up menu.
9. Select ?DS TRUEFLOW_E V1.4.?
10. Click the ?Choose? or "Add" button. The PPD will appear in the ?Printer
Model? field.
11. In Mac OS 10.2.x, an error message will
appear. If you see this error message, click the ?Continue? button.
12. The ?Trueflow? printer will appear in the Printer List dialog box.
The Trueflow printer can now be used with QuarkXPress v6.0. or any Mac OSX application.
