Double Burning Plates

Hello everyone. I was wondering if Trueflow has the capabilty of 2 colors on 1 plate.

For example, if we get a 5 color job (CMYK plus PMS 310). We rip the file, and at the last minute we want to burn the PMS 310 on to the Cyan plate. Is this Possible?

Yep.

Go into Trueflow Manager, click on System Setup, click on the application tab, select input then click property...

Now in the type the colour you want to merge into something else in the before field (such as PMS 310 - get the name exactly right, I think it's case sensitive) and the name of th eplate you want to merge it to (in your example it would be C), click add then click okay.

However it's system-wide, so you'll have to remove later.

I think you should go for a postrip workflow which has better facilities of Double burn.
Please for Heavens sake stop using RIP as a output controller. You are eating 50% of the rip.
