Photoshop ideal for booklets!
Scenario: we quote a 36pp booklet and win the job...Yippee!

Job comes in... Huh? One Psd file -18 paired pages as layers! WTF?!

Oh and it's all at 150ppi...no bleeds...and should be A4 but it's A5.

Makes a grown man weep...

I'll say, but on the sunnyside it does give ya job security. When I get these I use InDesign for PDF construction, psd layers can be toggled on and off and the text layers preserve as text, although the text may be masked in the PDF, if effects are used in Photoshop on it.
