Linear who?

Linear who?

I just had a very smart person ask me what a linear plate was.
This guy has been printing & stripping for 25+ years.


Oh boy.. I see fun on the horizon.

I know - not really a rant, but I had to share it!

Tell him it's a military tactical term...

It means that you line the plates up against the wall in the pressroom in a phalanx formation. 8)

I couldn't resist posting it.. I was baffled when he asked me.
It was post or laugh obnoxiously in his face.
I like to keep my real thoughts and feelings to myself @ work..
then I can't be attacked with any real useful ammo if the time ever comes!

Back in "the day" I had an office girl call one of our film/stripping dept suppliers and order a box of half tone dots...

The best part is, the person she called actually took the order! :lol:

i actually created a plate stretcher once....what was better than the kid taking it to the pressman?

I got to watch him do it
