I've got a better one than the "Linear Plate" question.

We have an old dinosaur they trained to do out CTP layout. A while back I had to show him to do some corrections on a layout. As I'm doing it, he's taking notes.

When we're all done, he's going over his notes one more time and he asks me, "Could you show me that copy and paste thing again? I don't do that a lot." This was after about 1 year doing layouts.

And our boss is constantly complaing about not getting enough R.O.I. on all the digital equipment he's buying. Geez, I wonder why?
