I don't think a good salesperson has to know much. But a good salesperson that can "talk the talk" as well might be even better. So often the two don't seem to go hand in hand for some reason though....

But then again, if they haven't kept up to date with things, then a little knowledge on their part is a dangerous thing indeed.

Imagine, when you're having a problem with the file and the brilliant salesperson suggests: Why don't you just rebuild the desktop first then save those quark pages as eps's then impose them in Pagemaker? yeah, they could drive you nuts.

An Update!!!(as if anyone is listening...) I read 'em like elementary level books. The salesguy has not sold a single job. Its been over a month. He even quit getting quotes a week and a half ago. He still shows up to use our resources in the mornings though.. but I'd pretty much say his days are numbered. The other two never started. We could really use a good salesman right now.. I'd love something to work on. Meh.
