But how about us Canadians eh?
Broke off from The British......went to war with the French in our own country...went to war with the U.S. (just look at the canons around Niagara Falls)....
And now we are barely noticeable around the world. Everybody "likes" us cause we are so "nice".
Guess history is VERY hard to predict......

4. If your 'democratically' elected president told you to stick your hand in the fire, would you?
I am so pro-America it is unbelievable that I have got into this argument. Politicians aside (they are all cunts on a global scale). But is it me? Have I got it so wrong?

Yes I have a passport -- 2nd question is a forgone conculsion if the anwer to the first is yes ...... 3rd question is also a yes ...... makes me VERY happy to say I live in America --- 4th question is too stupid to answer.
Pro American? -- with friends like you who needs enemies. It's funny how I don't see mass immigration to ANY other country with the numbers that the United States sees. I guess it must be our shitty corporations and lax work procedures and destitute way of life that appeals to so many people out there in the world.
Rather than go on and on about this ..... in the most basic terms. Are we perfect here in America? nope but the good far outweighs the bad. Is our political structure perfect? nope but we have a voice that when change is needed we speak. While the choices of our leaders at any given time may not appeal to the voters our system still works on the basic theory that any natural citizen can run for office ... probably the biggest problem with us is that we have these priviledges and don't exercise them. So you continue to bash America but at the end of the day we are now and will always be the greatest nation on the face of this earth. Oh and if you ever get a chance to visit our great nation, while you're here open up your eyes and see what is really going on.

Be careful PointyHat...very careful...lest ye awake the giant up north.
We got mounties and eskimos and damned fine beer too.
We could very well be behind all the Chaos in the world hiding under a cloak of "Sweetness"...kinda like Belgium...(don't go there!)

I know! I can't begin to tell you how many times my mother would tell me that Dudley Doright would come and get me if I didn't behave! ***shiver***
Just kidding!! Had to get the Doright mention in there somewhere. I love the Mounties, I love a man in uniform! That drinks beer!

Well PointyHat...at the risk of being way off topic and getting too chatty....
I don't drink much beer but the last 2 sixpacks I bought were AMERICAN. One was called Yankee Jim ICE and I won't buy that again cause it tasted a little strange. But...it was 4 bucks cheaper a 6 pack than anything made here.
Right now I have a 6 pack of Old Milwaukee in the fridge and it was a few bucks cheaper as well. Since I am mostly drinking for the buzz anyway and since it doesn't taste too bad I can live with it.
Still think Canadian beer overall tastes better and I can't stand European beers (tastes too strong)...
Anyways back to work I am really getting carried away here and I will be leaving in about a half hour to suck back a few Old Milwaukee's!

Always liked Molson Ale and Labatt Breweries make a decent
ale as well. German beer can't be beat although you have to go there to get the good stuff. Man do I miss Double and Triple bock, talk about a buzz...
pspdfppd, do you get South Park up north? Their depiction of Canadians is pretty funny. Almost as good as them old hosers from Second City TV.

Oh yeah, I like South park and it's rendition of us Canucks....
As for Second City...well I loved that show. Most of the cast were all born within about a 50 mile radius of me. Mike Myers, John Candy, Dave Thomas.....all those guys. Even Jim Carrey (though not my favorite and not a second city member) lived in my hometown.
So I KNOW CAMADY!
My wife and I actually went to the Second City Theatre in Toronto this winter (where all those dudes originated) and saw a play.
But once again I warn you people.....though we seem polite, can take a lot of ribbing and so forth...don't push us too far or we'll have to let loose the packs of Sasquanches we have in captivity. You heard it here first. Be careful.
