On-Press Image Register with Punched Polyester Plates

As a new member to this forum, I would like to introduce my self as more of a Pressroom Specialist rather than PrePress Person, but I have worked with all phases of printing from artwork to bindry.
My current speciality is in the area of using Polyester Plates on-press.
I don't need to tell you all that the production and print quality of Polyester CtP is a step forward verses film & metal, but the on-press drawbacks of gripping and holding Polyester plates in register requires special consideration. To this end, I have developed a New Pinbar Register Punch just for Polyester plates, which cuts tight-fitting, 'under-size' plate holes to hold register on duplicator presses. With under-size attachement holes, plate-hole stretch is eliminated, and image register at the plate cylinder is as secure as with metal. In addition, this New PolyGRIP Pinbar Register Punch utilizes a 'clear overlay image alignment sheet' which allows the plate's register targets to be aligned prior to punching so as to produce plates punched in perfect register to the press.
If you would, please pass this new information along to your Pressroom Supervisor with the domain of www.PinbarPunch.com

Good Printing
Roger

I checked out the website but didn't see anything for the type of presses we have.

How about Solna's and Komori's?

Just wondering.

Roger, the site images look just like our current punches for the Hamada. We use a PlateStream platesetter with an inline punch. the only difference is that Printware had a custom punch made for their machines when you order them. We stipulated Rioby and Hamada and the punch is design with both dyes in place. The only problem we have is that the Hamadas have different offsets. One is centered on the hole and the other is centered on the space between the holes. I'm modifying the pin bar so that they all are on the same center.
