What's there to get?... I contribute when I have some info, Ive never been mean to anyone(key point), and I try to help entertain in The Lounge. If by "will he ever get it" you mean that there is a clique here that has been around since the beginning that doesnt like me and wishes I'd go away, SURE I get it. But Im not going away. Dont be angry because I am young and have ambition. Dont be angry because I havent been in the business for 30 years and know everything about conventional prepress. Dont be angry that I feel the need to include my two cents in to alot of the threads, I stay out of alot of them too..

My point was that not once I have said anything about you, so why would you make a post like the one above? I recall reading a post you made just a day or two ago, where the person thought you were QUITE rude.

Here, you can relive it. I understand that you corrected yourself and said you werent being nasty, but it came across that way, so lets not start talking about posting etiquette.

Thanks Viper. I appreciate that. Alma DOES have a point, and "shit talk/potty humor" isnt funny to everyone. I AM a clown, and proudly. but talking about bodily functions and things that sometimes gross out some of the ladies, isnt always appropriate, and probably shoud be refrained from in PPF by everyone.

that being said, YES please.. Lets move on.

yeah, manners is a dying thing around here as well.

Instead of when people leave, I get it when they come in (in the morning).
You know, you pass someone in the hall or where-ever, you say "hey, Good Morning" and all you get back is silence... not even a grunt, screw you, or an ugh... totally nothing but cold ass air. These people, in most cases, are the higher ups, VP's, Sales, and HR folks.

Oh yeah, don't get me started about the slamming the door in your face cause they don't want to wait a quarter of a second for you to catch up!
So involved in their own little world they can't fathom that there may be other people in it around them.
ARRRGGG!

I like to think of this as Howard Stern's disease. Everyone is so caught up on the next *shock value* trip that it's just uncool to be civil, compassionate, diplomatic...
We always take the kids to Scarborough Faire down here and this year I saw no less than 4 people with black shirts and one car with things like asshole or jackass printed across them. What's the purpose of throwing things like that out? It's not edgy it's just mindless stupidty.

I love Howard Stern, but it's true, he has no manners.

Right on. When I was in college (art school) it was very "in" for shock value. Every week we had to view and critique our peer's work, and every week some "artist" would have a crucifix in jar of urine , or a crucifix wrapped in an American flag with urine on it, or a crucifix stuck in dog poop.

I was always the guy who had to ask, what is your point? I mean I'm not offended, but I'm not really even religious and I still don't get it. I called it a cop-out, and uncreative, thus making me unpopular with my classmates.
If that is art, then why not just paint a poster that says "I have issues", "I should be on medication" or "Daddy doesn't love me".

Morgan out.
