We were proofing a very high end job back in the film days which had a whole bunch of pieces to the job, 6 colours, gloss and matte varnish, blah, blah, blah. So after half a dozen proofs and a whack of colour/image editing one of the designers says "can you make this little boy look less evil?" Apparently she had been looking at this thing to long and was starting to think that this softened picture of this angelic 3 year old boy actually looked like he was posessed.
For a good couple of years after the jokes about using the Halo filter, or the Exorcism filter were never to far away.
"here's your problem you've got it set to evil not good."

One of my favorites, when someone is doing something stupid on the computer, is to tell them that it is a BK&C interface problem.

BK&C (Between Keyboard and Chair)

That's right up there with the ID-10-T error.

I call it a PEBKAC error...Problem exists between keyboard and chair.

Yes I also love the ID10T errors as well.

Few of our favorites....

We used to call ourselves McGraphics...

"...4 pieces of film and a matchprint??? Drive around"

And we mysteriously had an FM button to get those impossible jobs done... "Just push the FM Button.....F!@#ing Magic Button"

And aside from the ID 10T Error...I always wanted to tell a customer to RTFM...Read the F@#$ing Manual!!!!

And the one to drive the boss off the rocker.....

"I'm sorry, yesterday is all booked up...could I interest you in something later this afternoon?"

Sarcasm does seem to be a common thread with all of us...

Dave

"Mientras jodo, no barro" (Spanish for: "I can't sweep while I fuck"), meaning quality is not multitask, so you'll have to wait till I finish the job.
