First off - if someone is paying $10k a year for health care, I'd like to be the broker on that one. For my family of 3 it's about $2k a year out of pocket.
I don't mind paying that, we have great docs with the best technology available.

As for the middle east, we(the USA) have no business trying to set-up a government for them. We have things here at home we should tend to first.
THEY attacked us, and will continue to be a threat of some kind until.... A) we destroy them or B) they destroy themselves. I don't have any sympathy for them period! If I'm walking down the street and someone punches me in the nose, guess what - I'm going to put an ass-kicking on them - or give it my best shot no matter what!! Wouldn't you? I see them(among others) as a threat everyday and so does the government. That's why we spend soo much on Military... like I stated before everyone has an eye on us waiting for us to slip-up. To me, it makes me feel "safe" knowing we have a ton of money set-a-side for protection.
I don't truely believe we should just go ahead and drop an ass-load of bombs on them, but again, it's nice knowing we could if we had to.

It's survival of the fitest out here... no way around that.

Maybe I'm missin something here but the western world has spent a HUGE amount of money and lives since 9/11 chasing the perpetrators and thier friends but until now I'm not sure any have been caught. Afghanistan was the first target the Taliban were evicted but no Bin Laden although Britain is now sending even more troops to stamp all over drug dealers and other gangsters then Iraq had to be overthrown because of Bin Laden links and WMD neither of which have since been found. We are no longer seen as liberators as even the Iraqi security have said they would rather we were gone 'probably so they can carry on doing what Saddam was doing' It seems to me that arab countries do not want western style governments and would be better left to carry on and wipe each other out, why waste our tax money and soldiers lives trying to keep them apart. As for the huge defence budgets what a great way for corrupt governments to hide thier spending.

Can't we all just get along? Some people enjoy living in the U.S. (I am one of them) My question is, why are you concerned about health insurance in this country? Actually, my insurance is not that much at all. I understand you like you get a rise out of people, but man you need to stop complaining about things you can't control.

Maybe the fine folks at prepress forums will make a forum index for twats, you could have it all to yourself and we could read about what you have to say/bellyache.
