Coworker watching film coming out of the image setter: "So, where does the color come from"? A dead serious question from someone who had been making Matchprints for 3 months.

Another frequently pronounced magenta "mag-neta".

Yet another calls the IT guy in becuase his monitor wouldn't work, only to find out the power cord isn't plugged in...oh wait, that was me.

ops: Yes, sometimes I am the idiot coworker. In my own defense, there's a lotta wires back there. :wink:

zimmy - thats exactly what i did - but, assuming he actually has quark, why couldnt HE import the image into a piccy box....? i'm not entirely sure he knew how......so bring on the font loaded job........without the fonts supplied of course....and it'll look fine on his monitor.......and the fonts will print fine on his photocopier....

help - i'm losing my mind :?

got an urgent job in today, i checked it all out and a file is corrupt

I said to csr "they need to stuff and resend one of the files - its corrupt"

CSR: "ok - i'll get them to send the file again" - and starts to leave the studio....

ME: "err - would you like to know which file?......"

CSR: "oh - yeah..."

Thanks, everyone. I never knew how well off I was until I read this thread. It's a scream! And yes, I know, it's all TRUE!
