Just a rant
After a long discussion with a Designer regarding the file we were fighting, he finally paused for a moment and said: "Wait . . . were you guys going to use this file to print from?" . . . uh? Yes, that's kinda what we do

Spoke to a designer Thurs. She didn't know what "composite" meant. Hung up, called her AD. Told her AD that "I will have to call you from now on for any work out of your office".
Seriously, there's no fucking way my shop is eating any job coming out of this agency.
And yes, AD was pissed.

I can't remember if I passed this jewel along.
sales guy was giving a tour of the plant to prospective clients,
he and tour enter the prepress dept (lots of computers, in case you don't know),
he turns and points to a wall in the department and says "that's our firewall".
turns around and walks off with tour group.
sometimes, I can't keep from just bustin' out laughing with some of these...

I could report about 6,208 comments a day from the new employee, but I'm trying not to use up bandwidth
the fax one though... that did me in. I'm done.... as in "stick a fork in me DONE"
I actually thought I was done... after the "how do you make change?" question, but apparently not.....
I really wanted to say, "for the last 40 freakin' years you've been *gettin'* change!! How the hell did you know they were givin' you the right change????"

I had a customer that wanted to fax somthing directly to me. Since I share a fax machine with others, he said that he was faxing it on blue paper so I would know it was for me.

that's a handy trick...
I'll send my next fax like that, too!
I wonder, does this work for emails as well?
maybe this should go in the tips and tricks section!
haha!
