I've, just today had to pull 2 jobs off the press for changes that the clients noticed late. Then I was up telling the press operators about those and then I noticed that our Web was running magenta on a job instead of the PMS specified. Can it be friday yet??

We all feel your pain. The wish should be "Is it Saturday yet?".
I've recieved RGB files all day long and have been on the phone with customers trying to explain why this will not work...

Wow you can take a whole week off? I don't think I could do that and come back to no issues. It sucks taking a day off let alone 5 in a row. I think that a week off could be dangerous, cause I don't know that I'd ever make it back, I'd have to check into PPF AA.

I get a week because I'm taking a week. :twisted: if it were up to them(higher ups) I'd NEVER leave, let alone sleep. but I also am the only one in this prepress division. :P and the guy covering me next week has been given instructions to not "tinker" with ANYTHING. we'll see if I come back to any problems. If I do... I'm blaming it on the stitcher operator...... :twisted:

He passes his lit spliff to the left hand side and respectifully introduces himself as Mr. one armed platemaker guy from Istanbul. "Care to pour an old prep guy a drink, keep?">
