I agree it's a waste of time to manually do it in Quark. That's why they make software to do it for you (her). I suppose if you wanted to make it easy for her you could build it in printer spreads to start with?

I get it. Yes, it could be stripped much, much easier. Maybe these guys are used to CTP. That's really one of the great, great things about film. Flexibility! Try stripping pages into plates. "Get the tin snips!"

i can strip 20 spreads faster and on less material than I can 40 singles.

Moving pages in Quark is not a big deal at all as long as there's not a ton of cross overs.


However I can do the same with a PDF
