If it wasn't for digital ......

... I would still have a scalpel on my desk and would possibly have slashed my wrists by now! Whilst I do empathise with most of you, it is damn depressing reading.

Is there anybody here, apart from myself, who is happy with work at the moment?

I love my work actually.....I find it exctiing and challenging...I always want to come in to do my job. I've risen to the challenge of new programs and operating systems in the past few months and am confident that sooner or later I will overcome obstacles.

Can't say I've ever been much of a "happy soul" however, but i don't think this is a part of the job I do. I'm worried about others around me that are not so secure with all the changes but shouldn't so much because it is not something I can control anyways.

Yeah I like what I do. I just think it's in our nature to bitch, especially when everyone around us is so good at it.

I can bitch better than most - but I like what I do. I joke that customers think I insert their disc, hit "Print," and that's it. Were that the case, it wouldn't be very interesting.

I'm pretty happy with things. I love the challenge of the work, and we've actually been pretty busy over the last year or so.

I thoroughly enjoy the people I work with, especially my partner in crime here in the prepress area. We have fun, make each other laugh and still get our work done because we work as a team. I like what I do, especially when I have a challenging file that I can fix in Nexus Edit in the vector workflow. I think we all like things that challenge us, it makes us use our brain, and when we fix it, that makes the day all that much better. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH the challenge!!!!!!!!!!

Self inflicted torture....

Okay.....I know I bitch and complain. I do love what I do. I love the apps, the Mac and the Mac OS. The printing industry is the bomb! I absolutely love it. Everything about. However, it's the people, and company I work for and with. Constantly fighting/struggling with others in the department. Sales and CSRs that drive you mad.

Later,
Beaver

Hear Hear, I have the same problems. Power struggles are going to be the downfall of our operation.

<< Sales and CSRs that drive you mad>>
that's the case in any production/manufacturing business. Production and sales always fight.
