The printing industry has been changing since the 60's. I recommend that if you can, look at the job markets, update your resume', and get more training. Make your self marketable and move on when a company screws you. If you know they are "using" you they know it too. It won't come as a big suprise when you ask for more money. If they don't oblige, move!

I came to this printing biz from photography by way of the dark room in 1978. My father told me then "Son, why ya slaving away in a print shop with a college degree? Go get a real job and make some money."
Here it is all these years later and I am still doing the same crap- sort'a, the crap is digital now!
People like us who love this chit got Ink in our blood and nothing we can do about it. Ink must mix well with booze, huh.
