Many many problems with PATHWAY

Hello,

We use Rampage 10.4b10, with Pathway and Remote.

When I try to Export or Archive jobs, sometime, I have many error (jobs are not entirely copied, but they are erased (Archive option) !!.

When I import jobs, sometime, Pagelist is been corrupt.

Our reseller Fuji Graphic France cannot find a real solution (they give us many update (Rampage software on our server, Rampage and Pathway software on ours Mac)... Dell have tested our server, Fuji have tested our Network ; No problems !

Do you use Pathway to export jobs ? and if yes, do you have problems ?

If I had to make a guess, its probably file names with illegal characters.
Are there any /,#,!,* or any other non-standard characters. I personally do not use pathway to archive jobs, I have two Raids connected to my server, one for working files and one for Rampage. When I archive (Xinet FlashNet) I have a hot folder set up so when I drop Rampage jobs into it, it automatically archives just the Rampage stuff.

Yes, everytime you manually remove jobs from Rampage you will need to rebuild the page list so Rampage reflects what is still active in the RSI folder. I usually move files out of Rampage once a month. My page list averages about 14000 entries and I delete about half that number at the end of each month. So on a list of about 14000 entries figure about 20 minutes to rebuild depending on the speed of your network.
