Enhanced Overprinting

By default do you enable or disable Enhanced OP in your trap profiles?

I've had occasion where the feature has bit us...just curious what other people are doing..

We always have it disabled. Not even sure what it does.

We have it disabled too. We have Ignore White Overprint checked and that's it in the Overprint section.

We have always had it on, I'll have to check with some operators to see if it causes more problems than not...but I can't recall messing much with it...

from the manual:

Enhanced Overprint
Check Enhanced to ensure more accurate colors in overprinted areas,
because ink amounts are not reduced. Enhanced always uses the
higher ink value in overprinted areas. With Enhanced overprinting,
the result of the overprinting can stay the same or get darker, but it
will never get lighter.
Uncheck Enhanced if you want overprinted objects handled in the
Standard way. The ink values of the front object in overprinted areas
are used, except where the top ink is zero; in that case, it uses the ink
value of the underlying object. Unchecking Enhanced overprinting,
it is possible for the result of the overprinting to be lighter than the
background object.

Unchecked here as well. I have used it on a few jobs but don't leave it on as a default.

I've always had it enabled. Never noticed a problem with it.
