10.3 has been out for a while. 10.4 is the build they are working on to fix the bugs in 10.3

Hi nicmert,
We have an Acrobat plug in call Prinect Trap Editor. This and our core trapping engine in Printready, have been trapping transparency since January. The Prinect Trap Editor will trap native PDF and save them back as native PDF. Anyone with Adobe PDF Reader could view the PDF with traps. I am not sure about integration to Rampage. It is the basic, native Adobe PDF file. If you distill to native PDF now and then send to the Rip, then perhaps it will work, you would distill, then trap, then send. I do not know how the Rampage Rip handles transparency, so I would guess you would flatten it after trapping if you flatten now. Perhaps this will solve your problem?
We are looking forward to our next release of MetaDimension this summer, it will have the latest Adobe CPSI but will also have the Adobe Print Engine as an option. The Adobe Print Engine processes the PDF as native, no more flattening needed! We are being cautious though, it being a Version 1, you have the flexibility of ripping through the CPSI or the Print Engine, which ever you choose. Transparency trapping and ripping with no flattening needed! Alls I can say is Yea!!
Regards,
Mark

I'm running 10.4b4 so it must be out there. I hope to hell they didn't install a beta, although I have no issues to report.

10.4 I believe is still "beta", but has been out for a while...guessing it will be released to 10.3 users anyday now.
