Traps

Cool thats what I'm looking for.. On the Brisque system you used to be able to ignore Postscript Trapping and then when the job was ripped it would essentially have a "Flat" page that would then be trapped does Rampage work in the same way or not.. does the trapping have the option to ignore Postscript Trapping... Or even Ignore PDF Trapping, then apply its own??

I'm not sure entirely, again the normal file I make is an EPS so there is no postscript trapping. There are options to ignore Quark and other applications over print settings. You can set it up so it doesn't trap at all. There is a profile option called "direct rip" that is just that. it only take a .ps file and processes it like some of the older rips I've used.

I can say this, once you go to RAMpage you'll never want to go back.

Quark File Names

Hey Jane...

I have just found in Quark 6.5 in Preferences under PDF you can select whether to use the Project Name or Layout Name when you go to print... Very Useful I have just altered it as I print to Postsrciptfiles for PDF Distiller and this works for me... Hope this helps....

Pete
