Filenames within cropmarks missing

I saw a related post in the indesign forum, but we've had this trouble since switching to OSX with Quark and Indesign and even PDF's
We use an EPS workflow, either exporting to EPS, thru a FontWizardXT extension, or from Indesign directly, or we can rip the PDF (if supplied good)...
Anyway, we are not getting the file names printed on our Epson prints, or our film from the imagesetter. Never had this problem until the switch, Only with our OSX machines, No rampage setting have changed!
I made a PDF from Word, renamed a copy of the PDF with our name, then ripped, printed out lasers, and it had the original Word filename.doc listed in the cropmarks, with no page numbers of the 12 pg PDF...
Weird huh?
Any suggestions are welcome!
