How do you create PostScript from Acrobat?

I was looking from you guyes... how do you create PostScript files from Acrobat? Can you share some info? :?

File --> Save As --> PostScript .PS

I got Acrobat 6..
discovered that we can select any PPD installed in the system in Save as PostScript UI..
That's cool(:-

I assume, you don't use "Print to File" in Print UI since the PS will be driver dependent , right?

Yep.

Just a tip though: be careful in selecting PS level settings that are too low. You could do some damage to elements originally retained properly in the PDF. I.e. Gradients might change, overprint settings could fail, spot-colours might convert to process etc...

Just out of interest:
How come you require the use of PS files from PDF files? If possible I'd suggest looking at a PDF workflow...
