Rampage & Nexus

Nexus is a modular workflow that allows you to configure the workflow to your environment. The only problem is that it is a complicated process. You end-up having to know as much knowledge as the software developers in order to support it and their customer support makes matters worst because they have a horrible response time. I found Nexus too complicated for what we were looking for..

Rampage has a more conventional user-friendly interface. It is rock solid and the amount of work it gets out is amazing. I have used PSM, Nexus and Rampage and by far the best is Rampage. Customer Service is great, is very competetive, and it is so simple. It took me a couple of days to become thorough in Ramapage. I have been using Nexus for about 9 months and I still only know about 30% of it.

Rampage???????

Rampage was great about 5 years ago! The boys in Mass need to keep up with Technology. I have worked on Prinergy and Trueflow . And Find they are both more productive and more user friendly than Rampage. But Rampage is releasing 10.3 at the show, and is in Beta now. I did a web x last week. It shows some promise but they are eventually going to need their own Imposition software and please guys change that GUI. But if it is setup right, they are all good.

Rampage & Prinergy

Prinergy Evo is a modular workflow as well, it is not as productive as rampage but benefit from being owned by kodak. Preps floating license for all the desktop stations, PDF Merge, PDF Compare, Platebuilder, these are all pretty cool features but are seperate as far as pricing is concerned. The beauty of rampage is that it gives you everything it has to offer and does not charge you for features. So with Rampage you get steadfast production and its cost-effective.
