Rampage Client in Classic Mode..

I am currently running the Rampage Client 8.6 b12 in OSX Classic mode..

it runs ok, but I do get some of the Pagelist errors, and the trapIT editor not opening..

does the Rampage 9 client seem to run any better in classic?

I can live with running Quark in classic, which seems to run just fine except for the odd screen redraws, but the Rampage errors are making the switch to OSX pretty painful and frustrating..

any suggestions?

Rampage seems to be taking their time releasing a client for classic , not even mentioning a carbon client (which I hear will only work with Rampage 9)

rampage is not yet ready to release a native client for OSx. 30 - 60 days from what Jeramey tells me.

I had the same problem in 8.4, went to 8.6 and it got worse!!! Today I got Apples new update, 10.2.5 and it has been extreamly smooth. I am thinking it has to do with a fix for PC file compaability they fixed in the OS. try it out and see what ya get.

the other trick is to refreash teh page list 3 -5 times before you register or queue a job. Not perfect but helps.

I talked with Jeremey this morning.

He sent me out the 8.6b16, that coupled with the upgrade to 10.2.5 everything seems to be good so far..

he mentioned that some people were getting file corruption with 10.2.5 and Win2k servers..
that is my same setup but have not seen any corruption problems so far, anyone else?

I've got an NT4 server still and am running vresion 8.x of CyanSoft's MacServIP. No troubles yet. . . . except when classic crashes. Certainly no corrupt page lists like he said.
