I believe what you are talking about is a new feature of ID CS3...the ability to place an InDesign document inside another InDesign document. It's actually quite handy.

Ditto. I didn't find Indy hard to learn either, in fact it was easier than when I had to first learn Quack.

learning indy was easy but then again its very similar to illy so the curve wasnt steep

placing indesign pages in a layout is, imho, an excellent idea - and loading the cursor with several at a time is cool - i get a composite layout i can select several pdf's, files, indy pages - loads - all at once and placing them is going to be a big time saver when the next job arrives with 25 designs and several composite sheet layouts (packaging)

when we do these in quack it's import one at a time - with crap previews and stuff - slow and poor
