I agree...her job had to have been pretty tough...

Working with customers that are so polarized had to have been tough, your either loved or hated.

Sounds like she won't have any problem landing on her feet.

I think we missed an opportunity to make a difference.

Quark deserved the beating, not Shellie.

True, but if you don't know the feelings in the Real World and simply try to regurgitate the company rah-rah line, that's what is bound to happen.

Keep tabs on the post over at quarkvsindesign.com - it's heating up in the Comments section and that site is supposed to have an interview with Ray Schiavone this afternoon also. Should be interesting, although I bet he just spouts a bunch of crap about "re-structuring and client-centric" garbage again.

Hey, she wouldn't answer simple questions about the application and just kept repeating what Quark PAID her to say. The Company Line. She was nothing but a corporate mouthpiece for a bloated and overextended company that was too arrogant and blind to realize it's customer base was becoming increasingly frustrated with a mediocre and overpriced product. I don't wish anyone to lose their job, but personally I think she was pretty much set up by Quark to take a fall. Way too little, way too late.

Quark has moved the thread from the "General" forum to the much less visited "PDF" forum. Here is the new link:
