Yet Another Q7 drop shadow issue

I have a Q7 project with photos / clipping path / drop shadows.
When I preview the drop shadows in Q7 the way they are supposed to be they look good....However when I export as pdf the drop shadows move allot. ie... the x & y are wayyyy off of where they showed in the preview.??? Help Thanks, Alan

Are the drop shadows a spot color or are they just black? Or is the dropshadow overlapping a spot color of any sort?

Also have you updated to 7.2?

Shadow

The job is all CMYK. It is a black shadow on a white background. Alan

How are you making the PDF? Remember Quark PDF export doesn't support transparency and since the shadow is a transparent object it will flatten.
