Another PDF issue from Quark 7.2

Quark is not creating the Trim box needed by Printready. What am I missing?

you might need CreoDistillerAssistant.ps in your Distiller startup folder. It's an old Creo Distiller program to fix what Quark didn't do, or do right, that is still used a lot today.

You can also have Distiller add in the trim box by telling Distiller to make a PDF/X-1a compatible file. When you turn on the PDF/X conformance you tell it to warn and continue rather than to fail. Then you can define the trim and bleed boxes by using offsets. Distiller 6, 7 and 8 can do it this way.

Hi RedOak,

If you are located in the U.S., you can call the TAC Department, they are our second level of support and are available to help on issues. Have you tried calling them?

Best regards,

Mark
