Special characters/accents etc for Polish

Hi all,
I'm new so please be gentle!

We've set & printed a document in English. Now the client wants it in Polish. Problem with Polish is that there's so many accents that don't appear in our Special Characters in Quark. An example is that some lower case l's have a strikethrough 8O

We have Passport for Q5, Q6 & Q7. Is there a way to bring up those characters needed for Polish copy
:?:
Will the original English version need to have been saved as 'Mulit Language' to use whatever it is I need :?:

Any help greatly appretiated.

welcome to the forum - THE best place for some serious knowledge

ok - you are looking for glyphs i believe - start up the top of your screen to the right - click on the UK flag and scroll to show character pallette - if your font is installed you should find what you need here

i take it you have some polish font installed

the glyph palette may help in adding the special characters you need. At least you can see if what you need is in that font.

thanks folks, we got approval on the job 1st time with no amends!!
thats a first, especially with a job like this one - I must admit that I get a bit dubious of how well the job has been checked by the customer if there's no amends but hey ho' TIME TO PRINT!!

Thanks for the help - I'll look at the character pallette in more depth when I get some more time
