Can't open passport file

Here's a strange one....one of our clients has a Quark file that he's working on...when he saves the file then tries to open it, it says that it's a Quark passport file and he can't open it. He's sending the file to me and it won't open in 6.5... same problem....Quark thinks it's a passport.

So what I'm doing is opening the file in 7, saving down to 6.5 and giving the file back to him. He doesn't have 7 installed on his system.

It's a known issue. No answer from Quack on a fix tho. Turning off auto save seems to help tho.
