Quark No font substitution

Is there any way to tell Quark that I do not want to sub fonts in any way, shape or fashion.
Quite obviously if the font is missing, subbing it out does none of us any good. We use AWS and when the font is subbed out nexus rip thinks the file is OK and therefore we have the dreaded courier.
All adobe products are fine. When a font is truly missing in say, InDesign the rip fails. Tada!

I always get a warning when I open up a Quark doc (for that matter, when I open ID files, Illy, and even Photoshop) and don't have the proper font loaded. How is Quark subbing the fonts and you don't know it?

No font substitution

It is when I print with all the fonts installed that Quark subs the font. The font may be corrupt, or just missing the printer font, and therefore should not be subbed out.
I do know that if you print INDD with a missing printer font, or corrupted font the job will fail on the rip. This is not true of Quark. By Quark subbing the font the rip thinks the file is OK

Assuming you're using Quark 6.5, in your preferences, under Application/Font Mapping - make sure Specify Default Replacement Font is de-selected. Just played around with it and if it is selected you will get a warning for missing fonts when opening the doc but then it will just substitute whatever font is designated in this preference.
