yes it should be, I almost hope that they will just put out another crap product and die. I am newer to the industry (2 years), but from my take on it, I prefer Indesign CS2, and I know many share these sentiments.

Quark used to be the best. Then they got cocky. Compatition caught up with them and they are losing market share as we speak.

NO SUPPORT FOR WIN2K!!! WTF?!?!

The Windows installer only works for Windows 2003 Server (wtf?) and XP. I have Win2003 Server here but am not about to install it just for this. This is the first time I've ever come across a mainstream application that runs off of XP but not 2k, even though they're both built off the same kernel.

Good job Quark for dropping the ball (again) and abandoning these users. A lot of small printing companies use win2k because the Appletalk protocol is built into networking components so theres no need for 3rd party apps. gg

I guess I'll wait until I get into work tomorrow and test it out on my OS X and XP machines.

I think I should have done this at work, I don't have a postscript device to output at home, so I'll be limited to my tryout, but I'm looking at the ease of the thing, you know sit behind the drivers seat and take in the new leather smell, etc.

OK, where's the e-mail message

.

Still waiting........
