Trapping Issues with imported PDF Files and Quark

Is any one else having issue with Quark 6 and PDF files. This is what I have found. When placing a PDF file in Quark 6 and exporting the document to a postscript or pdf the trapping is changed. What was set to knockout is changed to overprint. I have also tried to print to a postscript from Quark 6 and I get the same results. I tested importing the same PDF file into Quark 5 and the trapping settings hold.

Software using
Acrobat 6.0
Qaurk 6.0
