q6.5 and tiger

Hello everyone,

I have just updated one of my Macs to OS Tiger 10.3.4

I can not get Q6.5 to print. Is anyone else having this problem?javascript:emoticon(':evil:')

Hello, the first thing to try is repairing permissions with disk utility, preferably from your start up CD. Then throw away Quark preferences and the plist.

Also try doing "apple software update" for tiger. 10.3.4 is an earlier update for panther.

jimking - 10.4.3 is the latest Tiger update. I think you made a typo.

Didn't have that problem, but an install of Quark and update to 6.5 somehow kept me from connecting to our file server. (Win2K, ew) :evil:

I had to re-install the whole OS after a HD nuke, and I only updated to 6.1 after that. Yeah, I'm SURE version 7 will be bug-free. :roll:

yes I had this problem.My box (10.4.2) has 2 users.1 worked and the other did not.We created a new user(a 3rd) and it worked.
What do you mean by can't get it to print?Are you getting a ps file at all?
My problem was I was getting a ps file with no info(16k) every time.

I can get PS files and PDF.


I can't get to my Xeorx 7750gx.


go figure

thank goodness I have a backup machine with 10.3.9
