Quark and Text to Box

I'm just curious. Does anyone have any luck using the Text to Box feature in Quark? I have never had any luck or any additional time to figure it out. Is there some trick to it?

Peace out

I only have used it a handful of times, and those were desperate measures. I'd rather re-set the text in Illustrator, Outline & bring an EPS back into Quack.

Ahhhh, yet another fine "feature" from Quack we never asked for & hate to use!

I've used it a few times, but it definitely does work.

It will only do one line of text at a time, so if you have several lines of type then you have to do it one by one.

It also offsets the type and you have to move it into position to match it up to the original typeset position.

I normally take the Quark file, make it into a .eps, open that .eps in Illustrator and then outline the type and bring it back into Quark.

Also, I've had the text to box feature change the color of the type. It's definitely not as good as Adobe's outline type feature.
