Quark>Framemaker Issues

Does anyone on this forum have any experience with Adobe Framemaker? I am having a rough time trying to produce .eps files out of Quark(Mac) that a pagination vendor needs to place into Framemaker(Windows). For some reason, the files are not providing a preview in Frame, although the exact same file shows up fine in Quark(Windows.) Any help would be appreciated.

just shooting in the dark, but maybe quark on the PC can render the Mac previews that quark mac makes and Framemaker doesn't have the ability?

when you are saving your EPS from quark, you should have the option to save it as a tiff preview I think...try that

Cory's right. PCs can only read TIFF previews. Macs automatically save previews as PICTs unless told otherwise. Macs can read both PICT and TIFF previews

The .eps files were saved with TIFF preview turned on. These are also not simple "Save page as eps" files. They were output from Quark using Callas Software's Made to Print XT. Now maybe there is some check box that I missed, but I wonder if there is something specific to Frame that I'm missing. Does anyone have any Frame experience?
