Drag and Drop on Mac OSX

Happy New Year, everyone!

I drag and drop EPS files into Quark 6.5 picture boxes at home and at 2 location I freelance. However, at 1 location I can't drag a file from a sever folder to a picture box and have it stay. It refuses to let me do it. I have to import the files via keyboard commands.

I'm hoping this is a general preference setting in OSX or something simple that I'm missing.

As far as I've ever known, this could only be done via a third party extension. If the extension for Quark is not available or pre-installed on a particular machine than (obviously) it wouldn't be available. There are quite a few different companies that create such an extension for Quark... the only one I can think of is JoDrop. It can be found at http://www.jolauterbach.com/. Hope this helps!
