InDesign and InCopy solution provider SoftCare today announced that the plug-ins SoftCare Overset Manager and SoftCare Notes Manager are now available for Adobe Creative Suite 3. SoftCare Overset Manager gives users total control over text length and overset, and is the ideal tool for everybody dealing with text-intensive files on a regular basis. SoftCare Notes Manager improves the native inline notes feature in Adobe InDesign and InCopy, allowing users to filter notes by date and name and displaying all notes in a convenient list view. Additionally, both plug-ins remain compatible with InDesign CS2 and InCopy CS2.

The plug-ins are now available for InDesign and InCopy CS2 and CS3 for Mac OS X and Windows from plug-in stores worldwide, where you can purchase the updates for 35 Dollars (29 Euros). Both plug-ins work seamlessly with the editorial systems SoftCare K4 and SoftCare K2.

SoftCare Overset Manager gives users complete control over text length and text overset, enabling them to count, display, edit and print overset text. With this plug-in, you can choose to show or hide overset frames automatically for the selected text thread or all text threads on the page.

SoftCare Notes Manager enhances the standard Adobe InDesign and InCopy notes feature with its own palette. SoftCare Notes Manager offers filters for displaying notes created by a specific user, or notes edited within a certain time frame, offering a quick overview of all relevant notes and allowing users to work more efficiently with these notes.
