Draging adjustment layers 2 new image

Is there a way to drag an adjustment layer/mask to a image of the same size and res and have it land in the exact same spot?

I frequently get images with minor changes from the previous version but the main images are the same and it would be real handy to be able to do this.

As a Drag you can hold Shift while dragging the layer

OR

Go to the layer drop down menu
> Duplicate Layer*

In the menu change the Destination document to the document you are wanting to copy it to.

NOTE This can be done within an action if needed to be done to multiple layouts.


*The name of this option changes to what you want to copy. If you want to do a group of layers it will be "Duplicate Group" or if for selecting multiple layers not in a group it will be "Duplicate Layers"
