Nah, haven't tried it yet, but here's a decent review if anybody is curious. 8)

Photoshop CS3 Beta
I downloaded CS3 yesterday along with a couple of coworkers. We are all very impressed with the new UI. Also the new features they added to some of the color adjustments (ie: curves, black and white, brightness/contrast, etc) should make color correction a bit easier. I am very excited for the new creative suite to be released.
I would like to see a survey of how many have downloaded it and how many intend to, just a thought.

yeah, I played with it some yesterday and a little this morning.
I like some of the new features like you mentioned, the black and white feature is really cool, the new curves is a nice thing as well.
I don't have any camera raw pics so I haven't been able to check out that feature, but I understand it is quite impressive.
I have the MacTell box, so the bug about the brush size thing is not good, but still, it's beta.
The new bridge is a little different, haven't had a lot of time to play with that, but looks cool.
The device manager is a neat trick, if I only had some devices to plug in. My PDA quit sinc'ing (sp?) up when I did a couple of updates back in 10.3, so I quit using it.
Overall, quit nice, but I'll play some more and see what happens.

Yeah, we watched a few of the vids regarding the Camera Raw improvements, and our in-house photo guy just about popped wood over that. 8O
As for Bridge, the one feature that somebody was touting, stacking images into groups, seemed overrated at best. It's nice that you can group them, but in order to see all the iages that are "stacked" together, you have to UN-group them anyway! Why not be able to see the images in the sidebar, without expanding the stack?

i am using it a bit for work now, just to get familiar with it.
so far it seem to be a good update, however, i get a screen coming up saying that the version will expire in a few months.
that's nice and good, but what with all the files i create?
i know that with other products like microsoft, you can create but the file will expire with the trial program.
just want to make sure. if anyone knows that...
thanks, dimitri
