Opening PDFs in Photoshop CS2

I'm sure there's a very simple answer to this one ...

My colleague and I both have Photoshop CS2 on our PCs. When I open PDF files, I get the CS2 PDF options (including bounding box / crop box / etc), but he doesn't. He only gets the basic res & colourspace options (ie from older versions of photoshop).

Is there a preference or something that he needs to activate to get the advanced options?

Cheers,

Damo.

Are you saying that if you both open the same pdf file, he gets different options than you?

I get the same things you get (bounding box, yada, yada).

There is no preference that I can find to change this.
Do both of you have the same version (ie all the updates to the PS CS2)?

When import the PDF there is a little box that needs to be selected "Show Import Options"
you won't be able to see the options unless it's checked.

On the PC it's done with File/Open (not import) and there is no check box for Import options that I can see.

So is it possible to "Place" the PDF on the Pee Cee?

Seems like that could be the issue, one guy is "opening" the other is "placing"

I think you are thinking of InDesign instead of Photoshop.
