Smart Object Layer export?

Yo to the yo

How'd I get a smart object layer out of PS into AI (keeping all vector art intact)?

Thanks

If you drag a marquee with the Direct selection tool over your vectors you will be able to copy and paste into Illustrator.
If your trying to keep your vectors sharp you'll have to delete the vectors from your PS file, flatten and then place the file under the vectors you've pasted into AI.

double clicking a smart object will lauch it in either Photoshop or Illustrator (depending on the type of object it is). Once you've got it open in Illustrator just do a save as... give it a different name and you've got your Illustrator document.

If you want to edit within Photoshop, just save and close the opened file after editing, do not rename.
