Publisher B4 2003 was horrendous for composite workflows. 2003 was less-than horrendous...and 2007 looks to make my b - list of programs soon...from c.
If you spend a little time, and document the steps for a consistent ps or pdf from the program...you won't need to hunt and peck each time to relearn the program...
Honestley, in the 2007 version, with the auto pdf option...it is a no-brainer program to recommend to the Suzy secretaries....press some buttons, look at the fancy templates, and impress the boss with your seemingly stellar design skills.
Heck, I even had the pleasure to hack an Apple PAGES 2 file last week....it had MORE problems then the publisher files I have seen lately.
When I mention InDesign to these types, I get the "yeah, It's a pretty IN design...or its a totally HOT design...thanks !"
I don't know what to think anymore, so I tend not to.
