I use Xinet but not Freehand, Illy only I'm afraid. Is there an 'As is' setting or 'Spot and CMYK'? we only only send via Xinet through QX or ID.

By Xinet I assume you mean an OPI workflow / Fullpress and TWiST?

More details please, I'm UK and hopefully I'll get chance to have a look in the morning, but I'm training staff all day for the next seven.

Have you tried placing your Freehand file into InDesign or Quark and then try to make a pdf?

Well, im using Xinet for OPI, i havent tried placing an editable eps in any other pagination program, but im sure that is a work-around. Im just looking to see if there is any way to do it directly out of freehand itself.

Thanks

This is just my opinion. I've never liked printing straight from Photoshop, Illustrator or Freehand. And I'm talking about at least 15 years working in digital prepress. I would always place those files in quark etc. mainly because of the ease of printing them through their print dialog box. Often these programs have the proper PPDs loaded too.

That sounds like good advice, but i have no problem printing from illustrator or freehand, so im still looking to find a way to print a xinet pdf correctly. Just so it would be a time saver.
